My Services

1) Discovery & Direction

We begin with deep conversation. Who are you as a person and creative? What materials do you already have? What excites you? What’s the story behind your work? This is where we get honest, curious, and clear. Through worksheets, prompts, and conversation, we start shaping a vision—your aesthetic, your values, and your future goals.

2) Project Development & Planning

Whether you’re starting from scratch or building on existing work, I’ll help you select and develop projects that show off your skills and sensibility. We’ll brainstorm new ideas if needed, plan timelines, and make sure each piece in your portfolio has intention, polish, and conceptual depth. Think of me as your creative director and accountability partner.

3) Artist Statement & Application Strategy

Writing matters. Whether it’s a personal statement or an artist bio, your words should feel as compelling as your work. I’ll guide you through brainstorming, outlining, and editing written components that sound like you—clear, smart, and memorable. We’ll also review your school list and align it with your interests, style, and future career goals.

4) Final Review & Submission Support

Once your work is complete, I’ll help you fine-tune your visual portfolio for presentation—layout, sequencing, documentation, formatting, and digital uploads. We’ll also polish all writing and prep final materials so everything feels tight and cohesive. You’ll walk away feeling proud, confident, and ready to hit submit.

What You’ll Get

A clear, customized path—from creative spark to submission day.

Each student works with me one-on-one, once a week, in hour-long sessions. These meetings are tailored to their goals, interests, and timeline. Whether we’re brainstorming new portfolio pieces, refining personal statements, or researching programs, every session is a step forward. Students will be given weekly assignments, which are imperative to this creative process. I offer counseling both in-person and online.

This isn’t a cookie-cutter college counseling service—it’s creative coaching, storytelling mentorship, and application strategy wrapped into one. With a background in art, design, film, and spatial media (and firsthand experience getting into top-tier programs), I understand what these schools are actually looking for—and how to present work that resonates.

I specialize in supporting students applying to:

  • Art & Design Schools (BFA/BA programs)

  • Film & Media Production

  • Animation & Visual Effects

  • Game Design & Interactive Media

  • Architecture & Spatial Experience Design

  • Hybrid / Experimental Creative Disciplines
